Four-Ball is what we call a "working man's" event with participants over the age of 25 partnering up with a teammate and playing a 36 hole

Four-Ball has historically been a very competitive event with a great atmosphere of fun and friendship.

Open to 2018 members of the SCGA who are residents of South Carolina. Both players must be at least 25 years of age as of August 18, 2018. Entries may be declined for those individuals who have not had reasonable activity on their club’s handicap roster as of the most recent update.
Must be received by 5:00 p.m. on July 27, 2018.
The field will be limited to 64 teams. Priorities are as follows: (1) Top 12 teams from the 2017 Championship (2) Teams with the lowest combined handicap index as of July 15th. Changes in partners after acceptance of entry and prior tournament history may result in loss of priority. Acceptance will be posted online at www.scgolf.org by July 30th.
USGA rules apply, 36-hole
four-ball stroke play. Awards will be given to the 12 teams with the lowest 36-hole total.
Upon notification of acceptance, each team will be entitled to 1 practice round. Call the Golf Shop to make arrangements at (843) 662-1413. Times available on August 17th and earlier dates based on a
space-available basis. Please be aware, earlier date practice rounds can only be made two days in advance.
August 18 First round. Tee times begin at 7:30 AM off of the #1 tee.
August 19 Final round and awards. Tee times begin at 7:30 AM off the #1 tee.

Cart fees for the tournament are paid for by the SCGA. Each player is responsible for a $30 cart fee for the Practice Round to the Host Club.
A $30.00 administration fee will be charged for all refunds until August 13th. No refunds after August 13th.
The SCGA reserves the right to refuse entry into any event based on behavior that may affect the integrity of our Association. Players are required to adhere to the dress code of the facility and conduct themselves in the manner of keeping with the highest standards of the SCGA. Players refusing to comply will be disqualified from the competition.
