In an effort to offer a higher levelof competition for all players, the SCGA conducts a series of One Day eventscalled the Forty Plus Series. True to its name, these events are geared towardsthe "Generation X" group, players between the ages of 40 and54. Forty Plus events are championships conducted as one-day tournamentsand are generally played on Mondays. Entry fees include cart, lunch, grossand net prizes. Entries are accepted on a first come - first serve basis.
NEW FOR 2017!!! The 40 Plus Series willoffer a Senior Division for players 55 - 64 years of age AND a Super SeniorDivision for players 65 and older. Both Divisions will be played from ashorter set of tees appropriate for the age group.

Open to 2017 male members of the SCGA who are over the age of 40* as of September18, 2017. Individuals wanting to compete in the Senior Division must be 55or older and 65 or older for the Super Senior Division as of September 18. Participants must have a current SCGAhandicap index not exceeding 16.9. Received applications may be returnedto those individuals that have not had reasonable activity on their club’shandicap roster as of the most recent update.
Entries must be received by 5:00 p.m. on September 6, 2017. Field will belimited to 108 Players individuals. Acceptance will be based on date ofentry and will be posted online at www.scgolf.org by September 7th.
USGA rules apply. 18-hole Individual stroke play – Championship, Senior&Super Senior Divisions. Based on a full field, gift certificateswill be awarded in gross and net divisions. The emphasis will be towardthe gross awards.
September 18 10:00 Shotgun Start - Lunch will be providedfollowing play.
One practice round is available atthe Member Guest fee of $49 per person to tournament participants on a SpaceAvailable basis after 12.00 pm on September 17th. Pleasecontact the OCC Golf Shop at 803-534-6069 to make arrangements.

A $25.00 administration fee will be charged for all refunds until September 15th. Norefunds after September 15th.
The SCGA reserves the right to refuse entry into any event based on behaviorthat may affect the integrity of our Association. Players are required toadhere to the dress code of the facility and conduct themselves in the mannerof keeping with the highest standards of the SCGA. Players refusing tocomply will be disqualified from the competition.
