Entry Fee: $75.00 per player, which includes greens fee, golf cart, range balls, prizes and a boxed lunch.
NYSGA eClub members receive a $5 discount off the entry fee.
Meal Information : The boxed lunch that is included with this event is a (your choice) ham or turkey sandwich with a bag of chips, fruit and a beer or soda.
Eligibility: Entry is open to all amateur golfers who enjoy membership privileges at clubs belonging to the New York State
Golf Association, or are an NYSGA Associate Member. Entrants must provide verification of an active USGA Handicap Index (GHIN number or proof of Handicap Index) in order to be eligible to compete for prizes. The entrant's Handicap Index as of the entry close date will be used for the tournament.
Rules: USGA Rules prevail, except where modified by the Committee. All entries are subject to the approval of the Committee, which reserves the right to disqualify or default any player at any stage of the tournament for any reason deemed sufficient by it.
Format: The NYSGA State Days Tournament at Orchard Creek Golf Course is an 18-hole, individual stroke play net tournament with contestants using 100% of their Course Handicap. The field is divided based on gender and Course Handicap into five separate flights of contestants (minimum of six players per flight):
Men: ~0-9, 10-18, 18 and above
Women: ~0-18, 18 and above
Prizes will be awarded to the top finishers of each flight and to the overall gross winners of both the men's and women's divisions. The amount of prizes is determined by the number of entries in each flight. Ties will be broken on the scorecard using the USGA recommended method. Flight and gross champions will be eligible to play, free of charge, in the season-ending Champions' Day at Drumlins Country Club in Syracuse.
Registration: The tournament is a 10:00AM shotgun start. Players are to register with NYSGA staff by 9:40 AM.
Entries: The field is to be limited to the first 128 entries. After the limit has been met, players will be added to a wait list in the order which they registered.
Refund Policy: Entry fee, less a $10.00 service charge, will be refunded regardless of reason if the NYSGA is notified by email (andrew@nysga.org) or by phone (888-NYSGA-23) prior to the close of entries. After this date and up to 5:00 PM on the day prior to the tournament, $10.00 will be refunded, as confirmation has been provided to host facility regarding number of contestants.

Course Comments:
Orchard Creek Golf Club is one of the finest public courses in New York's Capital Region, being voted the 2008 New York State Golf Course of the Year by the National Golf Course Owners Association. It was designed in 1997 by Paul Cowley, and opened for play in 1999. The golf course itself was built to navigate through the many apple orchards that populate the farmland, and each hole is named for a different apple. The greens are fast and nicely manicured, and each hole is very different from the next (not your typical back & forth park-land type course) with significant elevation changes. There are many holes that offer risk/reward features, so choose your shots wisely!
